Here is where I live in the city. Sukhimvit Soi 24. It's a fancy part of town with a lot of flashy, new high-rise condos. This is where ex-pats and japanese tourists stay. The area is safe to walk around in at night but it doesn't have as much street food as we had before at the university--it lacks the "city grit" as I described it earlier today.
